Presentation

The institute was established by virtue of Decree N° (1971) of 2005 dated July 15, 2005.  It was originally called The Institute of Applied Studies to the Humanities of Medenine. It is classified as an administrative public institution.  In October, 2012 its name changed to The Institute of Humanities of Medenine by virtue of Decree N° (2565) of 2012 dated October 19, 2012.  It is 1 Km away from the city centre, on the main road leading to Benguerdane.  The institute occupies a leased building for the moment.
